April is Autism Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge a disorder that affects around one in 49 people in our state. However, those affected know that autism doesn’t take a day off.
I was working for a newspaper, only a handful of years removed from college, when I first saw South Jersey Magazine sitting on a desk in the newsroom.
If you were to catch me sitting in my home office in front of our computer, you’d undoubtedly find a very confused woman.
