Hop to the boardwalk
If you’re looking for a fun place to spend your afternoon on Easter Sunday, head down to the Morey’s Piers Easter Celebration. There will be games, face painting and even “pick an egg,” where kids can win cool prizes. If you’re lucky, you’ll even catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny. More than 350 crafters, food vendors and musicians will take to the streets of Ocean City May 3 for a spring block party you won’t want to miss. Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi Goldberg has worn many hats Through the years—actress, author and talk show host among them—but on April 5, she takes to the Revel stage in perhaps her most notable persona—comedian. Goldberg brings humor to whatever entertainment medium she’s a part of, so we can only imagine how spectacular her stand-up routine will be. Amos Lee
Singer-songwriter Amos Lee, who grew up in Cherry Hill, makes his way to the Borgata stage for one night only this April. Making a name for himself in the music industry as an opening act for several well-known performers, including Norah Jones, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and the Dave Matthews Band, Lee’s folk, rock and soul musical style appeals to a wide audience. Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus
In their new show, “Super Circus Heroes,” Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey present elephants, horses, camels, acrobats, aerialists and more, like you’ve never seen them before. Watch in awe as the performers exhibit their athleticism, power and pageantry, all while showing just how extraordinary, and super, they can be. Lewis Black
No topic is sacred to comedian Lewis Black, who on April 25 will offer his signature angry rants on everything from politics to current cultural issues to the audience at the Borgata. Though his show is not for those who may offend easily, it is one that will leave you laughing long after the curtain has fallen.
