From classic combinations to creative creations piled high with flavorful toppings, these 10 standout salads prove that eating your greens doesn’t have to be boring.

Off the Walldorf at Cafe DL in Laurel Springs
This is a not-to-be-missed offering with its mouthwatering blend of chicken Waldorf mix on pillowy, herb-grilled naan with herb aioli, piquant arugula, candied walnuts and a dash of balsamic glaze for balance.

Holden at Tabboulee in Cherry Hill
This salad will have you longing for Greece, with a generous serving of shaved lamb and crispy falafel topped with fresh tzatziki and tangy curry yogurt sauce, mixed with refreshing diced cucumber, feta cheese and chopped samosa.

Chicken Caesar Tostada at Café Lift in Haddonfield
We can’t get enough of this Southwestern take on the classic Caesar, featuring fresh kale and frisée combined with red onion, cilantro, cotija cheese, cherry tomatoes and avocado, all on a crispy corn tortilla with a housemade chipotle Caesar dressing.

Blue Fig Salad at Blue Fig Café in Moorestown
Dressed with homemade fig vinaigrette, this is an invigorating mix of spring lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, grapes, crunchy roasted walnuts and bright mandarin, topped with grilled halloumi cheese.

Nuthin But a Greek Thang at Crumb in Multiple locations
This vegetarian feat of Mediterranean flavor highlights chopped romaine hearts, flavorful cucumbers, rich kalamata olives, firm-yet-airy chickpeas and crumbled feta, all garnished with housemade red wine vinaigrette.

Southwest Blackened Chicken at Zinc Café in Medford
This smoky, flavor-packed salad brings new meaning to southwestern comfort food. Showcasing spiced, blackened chicken over a bed of romaine lettuce with tomatoes, bacon, black bean-corn salsa and a bit of avocado to help cool things down, this zesty favorite is finished with jalapeño ranch.

Pear and Goat Cheese at Slice in Washington Township
This salad had us craving more. With a spinach base, this earthy dish includes sweet candied walnuts, robust grilled pear and a sprinkling of goat cheese that is only enhanced when doused with splashes of rich balsamic vinaigrette.

LaScala Chopped at La Scala’s Fire in Glassboro and Marlton
We love how this salad starts with snappy romaine lettuce and continues with a variety of diced Italian meats, mildly sweet red onions, pepperoncini and shreds of mozzarella cheese, with a nice drizzle of white balsamic.

Farm Chicken Chopped Salad at Healthy Garden & Gourmet Pizza in Voorhees
We just adore these fresh mixed greens with organic brown rice, tender grilled chicken, and bright cherry tomatoes, red cabbage, bell pepper, scallion and palate-cleansing cucumber, all lightly covered in a house dressing.

Figs & Prosciutto at The Bistro at Haddonfield
Baby arugula is tossed in a homemade lemon and extra-virgin olive oil dressing with ribbons of thinly sliced prosciutto, crumbled Gorgonzola, and a sweet-and-salty blend of candied walnuts and sun-dried figs.
