With 32 flavors, including standouts like Espresso Brownie Explosion and Campfire S’mores, there’s always something to satisfy our ice cream cravings no matter if it’s being scooped into a rainbow jimmie waffle cone, blended in a shake or added to the monster 12-scoop Shipwreck Sundae.
Seafood at Avalon Seafood
Whether broiled, fried or sautéed, the fresh selections of seafood here always hit the spot. We love the bacon-wrapped scallops, the signature jumbo lump crab cake and the fried flounder, but don’t overlook other highlights like the firecracker shrimp, grouper or the superb soft shell crab sandwich.
Sandwiches at Isabel’s Bakery & Café
Isabel’s tantalizing list of paninis reads like an all-star roster full of heavy hitters. Think grilled chicken and goat cheese with sundried tomatoes and balsamic; vegetables with peanuts, rice noodles and a piquant peanut sauce; or grilled yellowfin tuna with bacon and roasted garlic mayo.

The crowds filing in and out let you know this is the place to be whenever you’re hankering for delectable doughnuts, stellar scones or perhaps for the comforting taste of Walt’s fried cinnamon buns, featuring the original recipe from the beloved Ward’s Pastry, the iconic Ocean City bakery that closed in 2022.
