Our girls volleyball, soccer, tennis and cross country teams. Establishing their dominance within the Olympic Conference, these four teams encompass what it means to be an Eagle. Therefore, we are extremely grateful for all of these athletes and coaches, as they capture the dedication and leadership that is present at Paul VI. Specifically, senior standouts Emma McCarthy (soccer), Gigi Mantuano (cross country), Kam Wertz (volleyball) and Annabelle Salvano (tennis) all helped lead their teams to champion status in the Olympic Conference.
Our Peer Mentors. Now in its 23rd year, Paul VI’s Peer Mentorship Program continues to build community and support for current freshmen. Composed of dedicated upperclassmen, mentors meet daily to prepare lessons on topics like peer pressure, study habits and balancing school life. These lessons are then shared weekly in small-group discussions with freshmen, helping ease the transition to high school and strengthen connections between grade levels. The Paul VI experience is significantly elevated by our Peer Mentors and for that, we are extremely grateful!
The generosity of our students. Every November, our school comes alive with the spirit of giving as students and teachers in each homeroom donate enough food to build a basket that makes up an entire Thanksgiving dinner. Our staff members participate as well, bringing in baskets of their own. These efforts support families that are part of a local school in Camden, and make a real difference during the holiday season. Therefore, we are extremely grateful for our students’ ability to embody the giving spirit that is present at Paul VI. A unique computer science program that builds off the basics and extends to Advanced Placement. As a school built to change with the world around us, we are thankful for the technology that allows us to do so. In partnership with the College Board, our four-year Project Lead the Way Computer Science Program has empowered students to enter with minimal knowledge regarding coding and cybersecurity, and to graduate with confidence.
