A new national survey of parents with children ages 10 to 18 conducted by Huntington Learning Center and YouGov revealed that 70% of parents believe supplemental learning programs are essential to their child’s academic success—a sentiment echoed by many families here in South Jersey.
As concerns over learning loss, college readiness and access to resources continue to mount, Rich Bernstein, director at Huntington Learning Center in Marlton, says the findings mirror what they’re seeing firsthand in the community.
“Our team speaks to families every day who are worried about their child falling behind or feeling unprepared for the next step,” says Bernstein. “These survey results confirm what we’re hearing locally—parents want more personalized, accessible options for learning support.”
The survey collected insights from U.S. parents of children ages 10 to 18 and highlighted growing concerns around education gaps and the evolving college admissions landscape.
