Dr. Saffar explains that aligners have been advancing over 20 years, and especially within the last five years. The newer alignment treatments offered exponentially speed up the process compared to traditional braces, with results in a year instead of two years or more— and there’s no need for monthly office visits. They also help patients avoid complications such as broken brackets, irritation and compromised hygiene while maintaining a more natural appearance.
