145,000 Number of people who have signed a petitionto permanently move Halloween from Oct. 31 to the last Saturday of October. The petition was started by the Halloween & Costume Association in Mount Laurel.

$165,000 Total grants Impact100 South Jersey donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland and Salem Counties, Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey and Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey.
 
2,202 Total backpacks collected during a fourth annual backpack drive for the Unforgotten Haven in Blackwood.
 
$75,343 Median salary teachers within the Moorestown School District are paid. The town’s median salaries are more than the state median of $68,985.
 
$315,000 Donations by local businesses and community members to replace Cherokee High School’s turf field.
 
$14.5 million   Grant the Department of Defense and Army Research Laboratory donated to Rowan University to improve military equipment. It is the largest research award the college has ever received.
