by Josephine Cusumano

With summer in full swing, it’s time for those long-weekend trips and well-deserved vacations at one of our nearby Shore towns. In preparation for your day full of sun and sand, we tapped into our local retailers to find the perfect items for your trip to the Jersey Shore and beyond.

Barnes & Noble’s latest Nook iteration, the GlowLight Plus, features a new water-tight design, which is resistant to fresh water at a maximum of 3.28 feet and protected against sand. It also boasts a glare-free and scratch-resistant screen with GlowLight technology to help you read in the sun. Plus, its battery life lasts up to six weeks after a single charge.
