HAVE COME TOGETHER TO CREATE A BLOOD TEST FOR ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE . This new test has the capability to detect Alzheimer’s pathology up to 10 years before symptoms develop and does so with nearly 97 % accuracy by testing for eight autoanti - body markers . The study — performed with a blood sample size of 328 , including 106 control samples — was conducted with participants enrolled in clinical studies at the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative , the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging and the Parkinson’s Study Group . Led by geriatrics and gerontology professor Dr .
