He is committed to Fairleigh Dick - inson University . Josh Janove , Cherry Hill East : A senior catcher , Janove led the team in hits , home runs and runs last year and is swinging a hot bat again this spring . He will continue his career at IMG Academy in Florida before moving on to college . Max Martin , Moorestown : A starter since his freshman year , Martin is an athletic shortstop who is committed to Rutgers University but could hear his name called in the Major League Baseball Draft . Chase Topolski , Lenape:An all - conference first - team selection as a junior , this senior pitcher is the ace on an excellent pitching staff at Lenape . He will continue his career at the University of Richmond . Jonathan Young , Cherry Hill West:Just a sophomore , this shortstop is already an important player on the field and in the lineup for the Lions . He is committed to the University of North Carolina . SOFTBALL Jess Bianco , Cherry Hill West:A sparkplug in the Lions ’ lineup since she was a freshman , Bianco has a chance to reach the 100 - hit milestone this season as a senior . She is headed to St . John’s Uni - versity . Maya Knasiak , Lenape : In her first season of varsity softball last year , this pitcher made the all - conference first team . She is continuing to mow down hitters this spring and is also contributing with her bat . Delaney Patella , Kingsway : After an outstanding freshman season , Patella’s sophomore season was canceled because of COVID and she missed her ju - nior campaign with a torn ACL . Now the shortstop is back and better than ever . Lauren Petitt , Shawnee : A senior third base - man / first baseman , Petitt is one of the best power hitters in the state . She belted eight homers to make the all - conference first team as a junior and added five more in the first few weeks of this season . BOYS LACROSSE Ethan Krauss , Shawnee : Krauss , a junior attack - man , had 39 goals and 48 assists as a sophomore and has picked up right where he left off . The Rene - gades ’ leading scorer is committed to the University of Delaware . Mario Leone , Clearview : A senior attackman , Leone emerged as a dangerous scorer for the Pio - neers last year and is closing in on 100 goals for his career . He is headed to Cabrini University . Giuseppe Morici , Washington Township:One of the best faceoff men in South Jersey , Morici has picked up his offensive contributions this spring as a senior . He will continue his career at St . The Coastal Carolina commit forms a potent scoring duo with junior De - laney Jackson . Gianna Monaco , Lenape:The explosive Monaco has been a force at attack since she first put on a Lenape uniform as a freshman . She recently scored her 200th career goal and will continue her career at the University of Florida . Jane Trauger , Eastern:Trauger scored 58 goals last year as a junior and is once again torching the nets this season before moving on to the University of Vermont . BOYS GOLF Bobby Dominy , Moorestown:Dominy’s sensa - tional junior season included runner - up finishes at the Carl Arena and sectional tournaments , a fourth at states and a 15th at the Tournament of Champi - ons . He expects to be in contention at all of them once again this spring . Joe Fargnoli , Kingsway:As a sophomore , Fargnoli tied for fourth at sectionals and also had top - five finishes at the Gloucester County and Tri - County Conference tournaments . Jack Ross , Shawnee:Ross has been one of South Jersey’s best golfers since his freshman year and captured a sectional championship in 2021 to go with a fifth - place finish at states . He is looking to go out with a bang in his final campaign . GIRLS GOLF Sophia Chesner , Moorestown:Chesner , a senior , took fourth at the Burlington County Open and ninth at sectionals last year and has high hopes for her fi - nal season with the Quakers . Angelina Tolentino , Lenape:Tolentino’s remark - able freshman season included titles at the Burling - ton County Open and Carl Arena Tournament and a second - place finish at sectionals . She started her sophomore season by winning back - to - back tourna - ments and is on her way to an outstanding high school career . BOYS TENNIS Kunaal Jaganathan , Northern Burlington:Ja - ganathan , a sophomore , advanced to the final of the South Jersey Interscholastic Tournament in his fabu - lous rookie season and reached the Burlington Coun - ty Open final earlier this spring . Brett Schuster , Cherry Hill East:A singles starter since his freshman year for one of the premier pro - grams in the area , Schuster been in the top spot the past two seasons and reached the quarterfinals of the South Jersey Interscholastic Tournament in 2021 . He will continue his career at The College of New Jersey . BOYS TRACK AJ Brooks , Eastern:Brooks , a senior , was a sec - tional champion in the 110 hurdles and had top - five finishes in the state in that event and the triple jump last spring . He competed in both at the Meet of Champions . Patrick Ditmars , Cherokee:Ditmars placed sec - ond at sectionals , eighth at states and 14th in the Meet of Champions in the mile last year . The junior is part of a talented crop of distance runners at Cherokee . GIRLS TRACK Zoe Goldberg , Eastern:Goldberg is coming off a memorable freshman season in which she placed second at sectionals in the javelin and moved on to take seventh at states and 15th at the Meet of Cham - pions . Grace Malcarney , Haddonfield:Malcarney , a ju - nior , placed third at states in the 400 hurdles last year and went on to finish 20th at the Meet of n Champions .
