I think we’ll have a a really cool course . There are a lot of great good season , and my goal is to do the best that I can in all courses . of the tournaments I have coming up . SJM : What’s it like to play for coach Shane SJM : What did it mean to you to win Carl Arena ? Snyder ? LC : It meant a lot . It was the first time I won anything , and LC : He’s a goofball — he’s awesome . He’s one of my it kind of opened up the picture that I can win anything . It favorite people I’ve ever played with . Sometimes I’ve been ! SJM : What do you love about golf ? KL : The people I meet every time I get to play and the life lessons that it’s taught me . Golf isn’t some - KATHERINE thing I have to play , it’s something I get to [ play ] , and I appreciate the sport a lot . LIU SJM : Do you feel like you have the potential to win multiple tournaments this year ? KL : If I just take one shot at a time and stay present , then win or lose it’ll just be a learning experience at the end of MOORESTOWN GIRLS GOLF the day . I mean , I would love to win , especially with my Liu has already left her mark on the South Jersey team , but it’s OK if I don’t . I’m just blessed I had the golf community and her high school career is only opportunity to play . halfway over . Last year as a sophomore , she helped Moorestown go 12 - 0 with a sectional championship SJM : Do you have a favorite course to play in South and went on to tie for fifth individually at states . Jersey ? She was also the runner - up at sectionals , the KL : My home course , Laurel Creek , is definitely my favorite . SJM : Do you have a dream course that you would like Katherine Liu : For sure . I think our success will carry over to play ? from last season because we have a lot of strong players . KL : St . Andrews and Pinehurst are definitely high up on my We’re hoping it’s the same this season and for the seasons list . to come . SJM : What are your other hobbies ? SJM : What is your best memory from last year ? KL : I play badminton , and I like singing in my youth KL : It’s not really a specific one , but I enjoyed every time I [ group’s ] worship team . Along with that I play guitar . I also got to see my team and we got to have those bonding like cooking and baking and spending time with the people moments that brought us closer .
