It doesn’t quite feel like spring until the Mister Softee truck comes rolling down the street with its iconic music calling. Join in celebrating James Conway, one of the late founders of Mister Softee, at the Dream Gala. Benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the largest global organization promoting type 1 diabetes research, this is one sweet way to kick off the season.

The Sound of Strings
Nationally recognized classic guitarist Jason Vieaux stops by Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church for one night of his 2012 tour with a prestigious selection of artists from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Enjoy the sounds of some of the most beloved classical compositions without crossing the bridge into the city.

A Work of Art
The Perkins Center’s newest art exhibition, Consuming Boundaries, opens its door to the public. Featuring four female artists, this exhibit features fiber-based sculptures, using their materials to, as the gallery says, “define their own emotional and physical states.” Stop by the exhibition opening to meet the artists and share your thoughts with other spectators.

Hilarity Ensues
The Ritz Theatre Company brings the laughs in Stephen Sondheim’s classic musical, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” Set in ancient Rome, this performance has been a favorite of theater junkies all over the country, and is setting up on stage right in Haddon Township for one month only.
